Paul is writing here to the followers of Jesus living in Philippi.

Paul was in prison at the time he wrote this.

He also wrote Ephesians & Colossians from prison.



Philippians 3 

13b Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,

14 I press on 

to reach the end of the race 

and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.



All I can say to anyone who today thinks quit looks good,

or just doesn't think they can go on,


press on...


just keep putting 1 foot ahead of the other.


Sometimes that's all we can do.
