worthy

This is Paul, writing in his second letter to the followers of Jesus in Thessalonica.



And so we keep on praying for you,

that God will make you worthy of the life to which He called you.

And we pray that God, in His power, will fulfill all your good intentions & faithful deeds.

2 Thessalonians 1:11



"...God will make you worthy of the life to which He called you."


Evidently, Paul believed that was & is exactly what God does.

He calls us to be or do something - usually something that we believe we can't pull of on our own &/or scared us to death.

And Paul says that God will make us worthy of whatever it is He's called us to be & do.


Can you let that sink in for a minute...

How many of us feel unworthy to be or do anything for God, let alone something we feel individually called to be & do?

But if what Paul says here is true, then that takes the pressure off us.

God will make us worthy...
