I sometimes write the date next to a verse in my Bible.

It's usually because it stood out to me at the time.

I dated this verse in my Bible on October 1, 2012.

I don't remember why I dated that verse that night. 

I do know that by October of 2012, I already knew that Lynn had Alzheimer's.
