Philippians 3:3b We put not confidence in human effort. Instead we boast about what Christ Jesus has done for us.
vs 13b Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
How many can't forget the past?
For those of us who've sinned boldly throughout our lives: If we've surrendered ourselves to God & asked His forgiveness, He's forgotten it.
For those of us who've been sinned against: we have to choose to forgive & move on, b/c if we don't, those who have used & abused us with continue to abuse us through our continuing to hold on to unforgiveness. If we let it go & move on, their cycle of abuse stops.
We all must move on, leaving behind what controls or destroys us.
God dreamed a dream for our lives long, long ago. We just need to let go of our lives & let Him bring us into te life He dreamed for us all.
