nothing else

Isaiah 8:11-14a The Lord has said to me in the strongest terms – do not think like everyone else does.

Do not be afraid that some plan conceived behind closed doors will be the end of you.

Do not fear anything except the Lord Almighty.

     He alone is the Holy One.

If you fear Him, you need fear nothing else.

     He will keep you safe.


Approval & authentication by people who are important to me are still more important to me that I'd like it to be.

But sometimes we have to obey God in the face of what we know our friends & authenticators will not agree with.

That's when a true measure of who we follow & why will become obvious.

How do I know?

I've lived it, more than once. Sometimes I passed the test of only seeking God's approval.

Sometimes not.

And I'm living it now.
