Psalm 1:1-3
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,or join in with scoffers.
But they delight in doing everything the Lord wants;
day & night they think about His law.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail.
Their leaves never wither, & in all they do they prosper.
The
last time I read this psalm, which was about 6 months ago, the words
"bearing fruit each season w/o fail" came up off the page.
It
seemed that God whispered to me then that in every season of life we
bear some fruit. Whether we see it is not the issue. It's happening.
I needed to hear that then. I need to hear that now.
Will you hear it too?
For,
iow, no matter what we think or feel,or what we think we see going on
in our lives,if we are living for Him & being & doing what we
believe He wants us to be about, we WILL be having some impact, even if
we do see it.
I'm gonna hold on to that today.
