Psalm 41:1 Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor.
The Lord rescues them in times of trouble.
2 The Lord protects them & keeps them alive.
He gives them prosperity & rescues them from their enemies.
How
does this square with the seemingly prevailing attitude here in America
that the poor are slackers, lazy, "working the system," or some sort of
a lower life form, thereby undeserving of our help & hard earned
money>
