...the
grace of God is with you, no matter what happens.

Peter 5:12b (NLT, 1st ed.)
For
some reason, this is the verse that seems to stick out today.
Today
I was supposed to read 2 Samuel 4, Psalm 56, Luke 7, & 1
Thessalonians 4.
Nothing
really sood out as something to share.
In
that situation I look through the verses I believe God has given me
to hold on to during 2016.
The
one at the beginning of this blog is the only thing that stood out.
I've
looked at other verses, but for some reason, it feels like this one
is the one I need to share.
So
here it is.
I
guess someone needs to read those encouraging words of Peter's.
I
know that over the years God's grace keeps me straight, keeps me
sane, & keeps me safe.
And
He has kept me secure when a whole lot in my life seems to be or
really is flyin' loose.
So
I know from experience the “no matter what happens” part.
So
whoever needs this verse today, I just wanna tell you I've
experienced the truth it peaks.
Shoot...
what am I sayin'? I'm experiencing it right now.
What
do you think holds me together?
It's
the grace of God.
What
do you think keeps me going?
The
power of the Holy Spirit.
That's
all – it's not like I'm some bulwark of strength & courage –
that's a pretty laughable thought!
So,
here's a word for someone or someones today.
Take
it to heart – I know it's true. I'm livin' in it.
...the
grace of God is with you, no matter what happens.
