This is Paul, writing in his first letter to his adopted son, Timothy...

1 Timothy 5

24 Remember, the sins of some people are obvious,

leading them to certain judgment.

But there are others whose sins will not be revealed until later.

25 In the same way, the good deeds of some people are obvious.

And the good deeds done in secret will someday come to light.

Bottom line here?

Nothing stays hidden forever.

Eventually, when we stand before God, the truth with come out about each of us, whether that's good stuff or bad stuff.

Let's not fool ourselves – our sins will be exposed one day.

At the same time, the good that we do will eventually be acknowledged, whether nobody else ever does.

Think about both sides of that coin today...
