Don't be afraid
or discouraged,
for the Lord is the One who goes before you.

Moses is speaking in this verse, talking to the children of Israel as they prepare to enter the Promised Land.

They had been wandering in the wilderness for 40 years because they had refused to trust God would help them conquer Canaan the first time they showed up.

They were facing a daunting task that seemed impossible.

Hmmm... that sounds like what the will of God usually is, no matter who we are or what it is He's telling us to do.
