This is Paul writing his first letter to the followers of Jesus who live in Corinth...
According to some people,
there are many so-called gods & many lords,
both in heaven & on earth.
But we know that there is only one God,
the Father,
who created everything
& we exist for Him.
And there is only one Lord,
Jesus Christ,
through whom God made everything
& through whom we have been given life.
1 Corinthians 8:5-6
I would suppose that kinda sorta cuts the legs of "all paths lead to God"?
