final instructions

Paul is wrapping up his first letter to the followers of Jesus who live in Corinth.

It's a letter that is chock full of all kinds of stuff that is pivotal in our Christian thinking.

For example, this letter has the chapter all about love - 1 Corinthians 13.

Anyway, Paul is kinda putting the finishing touches on his powerful, pivotal letter.

Here's his final instructions...



Be on guard.

Stand true to what you believe.

Be courageous.

Be strong.

And everything you do must be done with love.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14



I think those words were not only appropriate 2000+ years ago for the followers of Jesus in Corinth, but are certainly appropriate for each of us as we move about our crazy, crazy world.

I would add 1 more instruction to that list...
