keep on...

Each time I've read this I've always thought the operative words in these 2 verses are "keep on..."

This is Jesus speaking in what we call the Sermon on the Mount.

Some days it is just the knowledge that Jesus said "keep on..." that I do so...

Matthew 7

7 “Keep on asking, 

and you will receive what you ask for. 

Keep on seeking, 

and you will find. 

Keep on knocking, 

and the door will be opened to you. 

8 For everyone who asks, 

receives. 

Everyone who seeks, 

finds. 

And to everyone who knocks, 

the door will be opened.
