Romans 14
7 For we are not our own masters when we live or when we die.
8 While we live,we live to please the Lord.
And when we die, we go to be with the Lord.
So in life & in death, we belong to the Lord.
9 Christ died & rose again for this very purpose,
so that He might be Lord of those who are alive & of those who have died.
So, what is this saying?
Don't just think about is the obvious meaning.
What is the overarching meaning?
How does the truths expressed here affect the way we live each day?
And how does this speak to end of life issues?
