Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Why do we think that after we become Christ followers & after His Holy Spirit fills us that we can simply sit, that we can go about our lives, working at our jobs, & "living the American dream"?
If we believe what we believe, the people who do not decide to follow Jesus as Savior & Lord, or who have never heard about Him, will be forever separated from Him for eternity.
And the longer I live, the more I believe that there's a really good chance we're livin' in the ends times - so time is short before all the "finals days" stuff starts.
eternity.
forever.
w/o end.
all the time.
It is my impression that forever is a very, very long time.
