Psalm 44: 1 O God, we have heard it with our own ears—
our ancestors have told us
of all you did in their day,
in days long ago:
2 You drove out the pagan nations by your power
and gave all the land to our ancestors.
You crushed their enemies
and set our ancestors free.
3 They did not conquer the land with their swords;
it was not their own strength that gave them victory.
It was by Your mighty power they succeeded;
it was because You favored them & smiled on them.

When I read that section this morning, God nudged me to just confirm that that is why good stuff is going on downtown. It ain't because of me that stuff is happening downtown.
It because He chooses to give us favor.
This whole downtown gig is His thing. Any of us connected to it are just following His leading. None of us are clever enough to make all that's going on happen.
Livin' like this is kinda exhilerating & unpredictable at the same time. God's very creative. Ya never know what's gonna happen next.
