HOG retreat

Our themes was "going to the next level"

Everyone on the retreat was at different levels with God.

Simply put, judgiung from what I saw through the course of the weekend, I believe everyone who went responded to the invitation of Jesus to go to the next level with Him.

The worship team - Jimmy Farrell, Chad Loyd, Ashely Miller, & Timothy Poole - as THEY worshipped, truly LED us in worship of our Abba Father. Their music was tight, with harmonies that were incredible. I thought Timothy was gonna play his hads off on the congas & I think Jimmy sang higher than dogs can hear.

Andy King was his usual terrific self. He spoke about things that were right where we all were in our lives with God. He brought Pattii along. She shared her life Friday night, & shared some stuff Andy had never heard before. At least 3 people were deeply impacted by what she shared, since those 3 people have similar life experiences.

Andy, Jimmy, & I all independently thought "Moving Forward" should be the theme song for the weekend.

Some people were obvously taking BIG steps to move to the next level. Others were medium or small steps. But the bottom line is that we ALL seemed to respond to the invitation of Jesus to go to a higher place with Him.

We had a GREAT time together - no crankiness, no attitudes, no inappropriate mischief - we enjoyed being together.

Who's REALLY the One responsible for the greatness of this weekend?

God

All the rest of us were just doing what He told us to do.

This weekend was a perfect example of His favor at work among us.
