Romans 13:14a let the Lord Jesus Christ take control of you...

Do we really let Jesus control our lives?

Or do we simply let Him be part of our lives, listening to whatever He may say to us, but we're the one who's in charge of our life?

Do we trust Him enough to let Him take control of our lives?

Or do we want to live as we want, pursuing the dreams we have dreamed, & trying to secure all the things we want?

But if we give Him control, He'll make us do stuff we don't want to do.

He'll make us be things we don't wanna be.

But can we ever really absorb the fact that is we give Him control, that frees Him (the eternal, holy God of the universes) to initiate the life He dreamed for us a gajillion years ago?

Or what we really want is to be in control so the life we've dreamed will happen & hopefully He will bless?
