rivers

Let anyone who is thirsty come to Me & drink.

For the scriptures declare that rivers of living water will flow from the heart of those who believe in Me.

(When He said “living water,” He was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in Him.

(But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.)

John 7:37-39



All around me are thirsty people.

They thirst for a lot of things.

love

forgiveness

acceptance

release

freedom

healing

fulfillment

security

strength

courage

fearlessness

patience

endurance

faithfulness

hope

faith

...just to name a few...

Jesus basically says here that if we believe in Him, the Holy Spirit is so strong within us that He will spill out of us like a river.

How does that happen?

The Holy Spirit is the powerhouse of God.

And He imbues us through His power to be & have all those things I mentioned above, & so much more.

For His power is limitless.

Am I reading these verses right?

Am I reading too much into this?
