Luke 15
1 Tax collectors and other notorious sinners often came to listen to Jesus teach.
2 This made the Pharisees and teachers of religious law complain that he was associating with such sinful people...
...even eating with them!
Who among us Christ followers is so kind & loving toward people who don't believe &/or follow Jesus that these "notorious sinners" want to hang out with us, to the point they are willing to eat with us?
How many of us don't hang out with nonChristians because we're afraid they'll infect us with "unholy thinking"?
How many of us won't be seen or connected with nonChristians because we're afraid of what our "superChristian" friends might think?
And where would any of us be right today if the people who had influenced us to connect with Jesus had been scared to hang with us?
Yeah...
Think about all that today as you move about in the sea of "notorious sinners" that surround us every day...
