He cares

What would our lives be like if we really, REALLY took this to heart,

believed it is something specific to each of us as individuals,

& actually did what Peter is suggesting here?

And consider this, there is one thing that comes out in each of the translations (The Message is a paraphrase)...

God cares about you (& me).

Peter wanted people to know – he wanted you & me to know – that God cares about each of us, individually.

The God of the universes care about each of us specifically.

Anybody need to hear this today, besides me?

1 Peter 5:7

Give all your worries and cares to God, 

     for He cares about what happens to you. (NLT 1^st edition)

cast all your cares [all your anxieties,

all your worries,

and all your concerns,

once and for all] on Him,

for He cares about you

[with deepest affection,

and watches over you very carefully]. (Amplified)

Give all your worries to him,

because He cares for you. (ERV)

casting all your anxieties on Him,

because He cares for you. (ESV)

You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon Him,

Live carefree before God;

He is most careful with you. (The Message)

Cast all your anxiety on Him

because He cares for you. (NIV)

Since God cares for you, let Him carry all your burdens and worries. The Voice.
