Luke 13
20 Jesus also asked,
"What else is the Kingdom of God like?
21 It is like the yeast a woman used in making bread.
Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour,
it permeated every part of the dough."
If we think or feel we are inconsequential, Jesus says here we're not.
Like yeast, if we simply be who we are, like yeast, our influence as well as the Spirit of Jesus inside us will slowly permeate the world around us.
You might say that's a bit of a stretch?
Think about this - don't negative people have a way of influencing & affecting a group without even trying?
If that is true, then wouldn't someone empowered by the Holy Spirit, connected deeply with Jesus, impact just as much or far, far more than a negative / pessimistic person?
We underrate our influence.
Let's be who we are, love God & love others, & let God take care of how far reaching our loving will impact those we connect with each day.
