I will never leave you, nor forsake you. - Hebrews 13:5


The author of Hebrews was referencing Deuteronomy 31:8 

That's where Moses is giving final instructions to the children of Israel.

They were getting ready to enter & take the Promised Land as their own.

Here's what Moses said in Deuteronomy 31:8:


Don't be afraid or discouraged,
for the Lord is the one who goes before you.
He will be with you.
He will neither fail you
or forsake you.
