This is Paul writing at the beginning of his second letter to the follower of Jesus in Thessalonica...



And so we keep on praying for you, that our God will make you worthy of the life to which He called you.

And we pray that God, by His power, will fulfill all your good intentions & faithful deeds.

2 Thessalonians 1:11 (NLT, 1st ed.)



"...make you worthy of the life to which He called you."

Evidently Paul thought God did that sort of thing?

That God can make us worthy of the life to which He calls us?

Think of the ramifications of that huge statement...
