opposites

Mark 10:31 many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.

Mark 10:
43b Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. 45
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.

This was so radical a thought process when Jesus first spoke it. The Roman/Hebrew world didn't operate that way.

Neither does ours, today, in 21st century America.
