These are words of Paul in his first letter to the followers of Jesus living in Corinth.



1 Corinthians 6

19 Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, 

who lives in you and was given to you by God? 

You do not belong to yourself,

20 for God bought you with a high price. 

So you must honor God with your body.



I just wonder how often I honor God with my body....

Judging from what I see in the mirror in the bathroom, I don't think I've been doing a lot of that lately...

I'm not trying to be funny...

I'm too out of shape, too many pounds in too many places, too many effects of stress showing, too much of a lot of things...
