Since (Jesus) Himself has gone through suffering & temptation,
He is able to help us when we are being tempted.
Hebrews 2:18
I think we forget that Jesus experienced all the "slings & arrows" of temptation from the devil that is common to all of us.
And He certainly is no stranger to suffering.
So we have a God who has lived among us & really & truly understands what life is like for us.
Think about that today - try to fathom that God really, really does understand us.
