letting God do it

Psalm 109: 27 Let them see that this is Your doing,
that You Yourself have done it, Lord.

This psalm is all about someone who's doing bad stuff to the psalmist. But for some reason, as I was reading it this morning, this verse came up off the page.

This is what I hope people will see with downtown - that God's done whatever happens, not me, or us. That's a dicey path to walk, b/c we have to listen very closely, & watch carefully, so as to get His cues as to what to be & do.
