Ephesians 5:1 Follow God's example in everything you do, because you are His dear children.
     Everything we do? Everything? If we believe this, what would that look like in our lives?


2 Live a life filled with love for others, following the example of Christ, who loved you & gave Himself as a sacrifice to take away your sins.
     If we allow ourselves to be a channel through which God can love others, sometimes that's not a pleasant experience, especially when the others are so loveable.

5b ...a greedy person is really an idolater who worships the things of this world.
     Oops! so much for the shop-a-holics! But, seriously, how many of us worship "the things of this world" way too much? I'm guilty of it. How about you?


10 Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord.
     what are some ways to find out this kind of thing?


16 Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days.
     so how would you describe the ways we could flesh this out?


18 Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, let the Holy Spirit fill & control you.
     In a culture & country that seems more & more alcohol infused, what's the practical application here?


20 And you will always give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
     in the last couple of years it seems I read a lot in the Bible about being thankful, no matter what happens - can you tell me what that means to you, how you would interpret that mandate?
