It is not that we think we can do anything of lasting value by ourselves.
Our only power & success come from God.
2 Corinthians 3:5
This is Paul talking in his second letter to the followers of Jesus in Corinth.
It is so easy after a little while to start to believe that we have something to do with whatever we accomplish in ministry.
But it ain't so - we ain't "all that & a bag of chips", as they used to say.
Whatever happens, whatever power we operate in, all comes from God, not from our puny & precious little selves.
What do we do when we realize both are gone?
What do we do when the favor is no more?
