hold on

Don't throw away this confident trust in the Lord,
no matter what happens.

Remember the great reward it brings you!

Patient endurance is what you need now,

so you will continue to do God's will.

Then you will receive all He has promised.

Hebrews 10:35-36



This is one of the verses I feel like God has given me to hold on to during 2018.

It's from a book that many believe was written to the Hebrews who were followers of Jesus by Paul, who wrote a good bit of the books of what we know as the New Testament.

We live in very perilous times...

anything goes...

our world changes rapidly by undergoing significant shifts quickly in rapid succession...

terrorists & terrorism abounds...

we never know when or where some crazy person with an assault weapon is going to open fire...

& who knows if out of the blue (literally) we might be nuked until we glow.



"Patient endurance is what you need now..."

Ok...

Then the Holy Spirit is gonna have to supply the strength, power, & wisdom to meet that mandate.
