These verses were for me today, but there were also for someone else, especially verse 17. Will you let me know, & why, if they were for you too? I'd like to share with you why they're for me today.
Psalm 118
vs 6 The Lord is for me, so I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
vs 7a Yes, the Lord is for me, He will help me.
vs 8 It is better to trust the Lord
than to put confidence in people.
vs 9 It is better to trust the Lord
than to put confidence in princes. (dan note: iow, government officials)
vs 17 I will not die,
but I will live to tell what the Lord has done.
