These are some verses that stood out this morning. I feel like even though these are for me, some of them are for someone else too.
From Proverbs 21
vs 3 The Lord is more pleased when we do what is just & right than when we give Him sacrifices.
vs 23 If you keep your mouth shut, you will stay out of trouble. (dan note: y'all, don't go there! ;-)
vs 30 Human plans, no matter how wise or well advised, cannot stand against the Lord.
vs 31 The horses are prepared for battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.

From 1 Peter 4
vs 8 Continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.
vs 9 Cheerfully share your home w/ those who need a meal or a place to stay
dan note: This one is the big one for me today...
vs 19 So if you are suffering according to God's will,
keep on doing what is right,
& trust yourself to the God who made you,
for He will never fail you.
