So here's the verses I feel like God wants me to hold on to during 2018...
There's a bunch of them - in the past that usually means it's gonna be a humdinger of a year...
I think we're fixin' to find out...
If you cling to your life,
you will lose it;
but if you give up your life for me,
you will find it.
Matthew 10:39
Then Jesus said,
“Come to me,
all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
No matter what happens,
always be thankful;
For this is God's will for you who follow Christ Jesus.
1 Thess. 5:18
Don't be afraid or discouraged,
for the Lord is the One who goes before you.
He will be with you.
He will neither fail you or forsake you.
Deut. 31:8
Don't throw away this confident trust in the Lord,
no matter what happens.
Remember the great reward it brings you!
Patient endurance is what you need now,
so you will continue to do God's will.
Then you will receive all that He has promised.
Hebrews 10:35-36
So take a new grip with your tired hands
and stand firm on your shakey legs.
Mark out a straight path for your feet.
Then those who follow you,
though they are weak and lame,
will not stumble & fall but will become strong.
Hebrews 12:12-13
Be glad for all God is planning for you.
Be patient in trouble
& always be prayerful.
Romans 12:12
