Then Jesus said,

"Come to me,

all you who are weary

& carry heavy burdens,

& I will give your rest."

Matthew 11:28



Are any of us weary?

Tired?

Worn out?

No reserves?

At the end of our rope?

Sick & tired of being sick & tired?

Just completely done in?


Do we have more responsibility than you can cope with?

Overwhelmed?

Inundated?

Completely shattered with work?

Too many balls in the air?

Too many plates spinning?

Too many people demanding attention?

Too many things needing to be done urgently & quickly?


If any of these situations, & thousands like them, describe you, Jesus has 2 specific things to say to us...


Come to Me...

& I will give you rest.


Don't know how He will.

Don't know when He will.

All I know is what He says here.


The son of God says come & rest.


So why don't we allow Him to give us the rest we desperately need?
