go

Matthew 29:19-20

Therefore,

     go

     and make disciples

        of all the nations,

 baptizing them in the name of the Father

     and the Son

     and the Holy Spirit.


Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.

And be sure of this:

     I am with you always,

        even to the end of the age.”



It seems that for the last 5 years the operative word in my life has especially been "go".

This is Jesus talking to His disciples right before He went back to heaven.

The most important word here is "go"

As His disciples int he present world & time, He says the same thing to us...

"Go."

Most of us haven't.

We spend our time trying to attain "the American Dream"

   and / or trying to become "successful".

When will we ever learn that "go" means go.

Let's not shy away from this basic command of Jesus.

He said "go".

So we need to go.

All we have to do is follow - He'll lead us where.
