Hebrews 2:18 Since He Himself (Jesus) has gone through suffering & temptation, He is able to help us when we are being tempted.
This thing we call "following Jesus" isn't just a philosophy, or a normal normative - it's a relationship with a very real person - Jesus
And this very real person (who also is God!) experienced the same kind of temptations we do. He really does understand what it means to live in this world fraught with sin, soaked in sin, where around every corner there's some new hot-button item that the devil's gonna throw at us.
Jesus gets how hard that is to live with & live in.
And because of His experience with this world, He's able to custom make any help, power, strength, or wisdom we might needs to combat it or resist it.
Wouldn't it be a speacial kind of stupid if we didn't take advantage of this kind of help & plug into it in a major way?
