Romans 4:5 people are declared righteous because of their faith, not because of their works.
Well, there you have it...
Faith in what?
Faith in Jesus being the means by which God can forgive & accept us - that His sacrifice of Himself for each of us is enough for us to establish a relationship with an unimaginably holy God.
