Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is our light & protector.
He gives us grace & glory.
No good thing will the Lord withhold
from those who do what is right.

for some reason, that struck me this morning
who needs to hear that this morning besides me?
I doesn't mean He's a vending machine
but it also means He's not this "celestial kill-joy" so many people view him as
yes, He's a unimaginably infinitely holy God
but He's also wanting us to identify Him as One who loves us as our Father
and wants us to relate to Him as a father
would any of us, mother or father, keep any of our children from receiving something good if they had a chance to have it?
then why is it so hard for us to believe that the holy God of the universes won't come through with the same thing?
