little is much when God is in it

I feel like God is juuuuuuust beginning to lead us toward what we're supposed to be & do up here in B'ville. We're just two people, but as I read these two sections today, I kinda felt like we might be like the mustard seed & the yeast - something starting small but eventually having a bigger impact.

Maybe that's where you are today - wondering if what God seems to be leading you to be & do is all that important, or significant, or worth the trouble being & doing.

We each carry the Kingdom of God inside of us. Sometimes we're called to take it to places where our efforts seem too small & too puny to matter.

But in the grand scheme of things, they matter - maybe we won't see & know that until we get to heaven - but they matter.

Luke 13:18 The Jesus said,

What is the Kingdom of God like?

How can I illustrate it?

19 It is like a tiny mustard seed planted in a garden.

It grows & becomes a tree,

& the birds come & find shelter among its branches.

20 He also asked,

What else is the Kingdom of God like?

21 It is like yeast used by a woman making bread.

Even though she used a large amount of flour, the yeast permeated every part of the dough.
