question

Galatians 3

24b So now, through faith in Christ, we are made right with God.

26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have been made like Him.

28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female.

For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

So, I have a few questions...

24b So now, through faith in Christ, we are made right with God.

dan note: Iow, only with a faith in Jesus do we have the possibility of a connection with God in which He fully accepts us?

26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

dan note: so we're no longer just people worshipping God, He has such a strong connection with us it is best described as a familial connect where He is the Father & we are His children?

27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have been made like Him.

dan note: And not only are we His children, He doesn't leave us as He found us - He is in the process of making Him like Jesus- iow, our old identity is transcended by this new identity as a child of God?

28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female.

dan note: so God now sees each of us equally - no one is better than the other simply through the "accident of their birth"?

For you are all one in Christ Jesus.
dan note: and this non-distinctive perspective of God where He sees us all as His children binds us together as one entity because as far as God is concerned we are all equals in His mind?

If all this is so, how should it change our perspectives on things & our views of people?
