Psalm 118
8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in people.
9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in princes.
How many of us trust people more than we trust God?
How many of us trust someone, or something, more than we trust God?
How often do we need to be let down by others before we really buy into the reality that in the end the only one we can trust to always understand & come through is God?
