scandalous

Colossians 2

13 You were dead because of your sins 

and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. 

Then God made you alive with Christ, 

for he forgave all our sins.

14 He canceled the record of the charges against us 

and took it away by nailing it to the cross.



"He canceled the record of charges against us..."


Can you absorb that sentence?


Everything - like every sin of ours - God simply forgave & forgot.


Canceled the record of all those sins of ours.


All of them...


Think about that...


All those things that the devil & our own self inflicting thinking has been beating our brains out about are simply not valid.


He's canceled the record of them - He's wiped the slate clean...


And we certainly don't deserve that kind of break...


That is the scandal of grace...
