1 Corinthians 10

13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience.

And God is faithful.

     He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand.

     When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.



uh oh...

So much for "the devil made me do it"?


So, iow, we don't have any excuses, do we?

If this is true, & God "shows us a way out", we sin as we do because we choose to?

The sin & the devil don't "overwhelm" us?

We choose to do something sinful, be something sinful, or just sin outright?

That if we just turn a little bit toward God in a sinful situation, we'll see the way out of it?
