so, there we have it

Matthew 22

34
But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees with his reply, they met together to question him again.

35
One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question:

36 "Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?"

37 Jesus replied,

"'You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.'

38 This is the first and greatest commandment.

39 A second is equally important:

        'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."

So, there we have it...

The bottom line...

The whole enchilada...

All she wrote...

Jesus forever defined what are the most important things to God - basically in 4 words...

Love God...

Love others.

4 words - 2 of which are identical.

Love God, love others.

And how much time do we spend trying to make it far more difficult?

Love God. Love others.

What would our world be like...

if those of us who claim to follow Jesus actually lived out an expression of those 4 words in our daily lives...

instead of all the other things people are constantly telling us is the way to live as a Christian?

What would our world be like if we simply lived out those 4 words?
