life

1 John 5:11 And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life.

How many of us really live?

And how many of us just limp along, choosing whatever we perceive to be our best guess for our lives?

How many of us are really in an impossible place on this cold, wintery morning?

There's only one place in the infinity of life where there is truly vibrant, straightforward life.

To those of us who are hooked at the hip with Jesus, that last statement may seem ridiculous.

For those of us whose life is so convoluted & messed up, it may seem impossibly, stupidly too simple.

But I've lived long enough to know (the hard way) that life only makes sense when we say yes to Jesus in all our 'ever's - whatever, whenever, wherever, whoever, however.

It may not be an easy life.

It may not be a life that always makes sense.

But it will be the only real living we'll ever know, or see around us.
