Jude 21a Live in such a way that God's love can bless you...
God has made it pretty plain how He expects us to live as His children who are Christ followers.
There's not a whole lot of wiggle room there.
Lots of the time, it seems that our own intentional sinning acts as a block for the blessings He wants to give us.
It's like He can't bless our lives sometimes, or continue His favor, if our hearts & lives are tainted with disobedience & sinning.
This doesn't mean that we have to be sinless for Him to bless us. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last perfect person around here we ended up killing!
What it does mean I think is that sometimes the extent of His ability to bless & favor us is limited by our own intentional buckets full of sinning.
Anybody got some thoughts on what seems to me to be fuzzy thinking of mine?
